Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

SkazkaAI, operated by Evallume LLC, wants everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification, or who have low vision, color blindness, or motor, hearing, or cognitive disabilities — to be able to read about our personalized books, create one, and order it. We aim to make skazka.ai conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility problems as defects to fix.

2. What we have done

• We test key pages, at desktop and phone screen widths, with the automated checker axe-core against the WCAG 2.1 A/AA rules — the home page, product and audio pages, story creation and sign-in, the gift-certificate purchase page, the reviews page, and the Privacy Policy — and fix what it finds. On October 28, 2026 we fixed every violation of those rules that the checker had reported on these pages.
• Form fields on the gift-certificate page have labels that are programmatically associated with them; colors that failed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio on the sign-in page were changed; the sideways-scrolling photo strips in reviews and wide tables in our legal documents can be reached and scrolled with the keyboard; the closed menu of the phone layout no longer takes keyboard focus.
• Pages use headings and landmark regions to make navigation easier.
• Many animations are reduced when your device is set to “reduce motion.”

3. Known limitations

Automated tools find only part of the possible problems, and we have not yet completed a full manual review with assistive technologies. We know the following areas are not fully verified and may fall short of WCAG 2.1 AA:

• The story editor, the story-creation dialog, the story chat, and the audio players — we have not yet tested them with VoiceOver, NVDA, or JAWS.
• The illustrations of your book are generated by AI. We add short text alternatives to the pictures on the Site, but they do not describe every detail of each illustration.
• Payment pages are hosted by our payment providers (Lemon Squeezy and Stripe) and are governed by their accessibility practices.
• Downloadable PDF files of books are designed for reading and printing and are not tagged for screen readers.
• Reviews written by parents may include photos and videos without captions or descriptions.

4. Tell us about a problem

If you cannot use any part of the Site, or you need information in another format, please write to support@skazka.ai with the subject “Accessibility”. Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and which browser and assistive technology you use. We read every message, look into the problem, and reply with what we can do — for example, fixing the page, providing the content in another format, or helping you complete an order by email.

5. Technical information

The Site relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI-ARIA to work with the browsers and assistive technologies we support: current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile. This statement concerns skazka.ai and its sub-pages; third-party sites we link to are outside it. We review this statement and re-run our checks when we change the Site significantly.
